Genesis Typhoon Tennis Reel
Genesis Typhoon Tennis String was developed over 15 years ago to recreate the crisp, connected response players loved in the world's most iconic co-polyester strings, and it's remained a Genesis mainstay ever since. Aluminum fibers woven into the premium co-polyester formula create that signature lively feedback, while a pentagonal profile with an added axial twist grips the ball hard for outstanding spin without giving up directional accuracy.
Typhoon suits aggressive baseliners and all-court competitors who like taking full swings and want to trust every shot. It rewards fast racquet-head speed with excellent spin potential, dependable control, and surprising touch around the net, all while staying comfortable and predictable deep into its life. Genesis' manufacturing process, including multiple heating and cooling stages plus a low-friction coating, keeps the string from moving in the bed and helps it hold tension over time.
